Today, Eleven Percent released the new AutoEdit Creator Academy, a free course-style learning and support hub built to help AutoEdit users learn the plugin step by step.
The Academy is starting with AutoEdit Music Video Mode and gives users one place to learn the full Premiere Pro workflow, from getting set up and importing footage to creating a rough cut, cutting to the beat, working with B-roll, adding VFX, troubleshooting common issues, and getting additional support when needed.

Why we built the AutoEdit Creator Academy
My family is full of teachers, so it is kind of funny that a big part of what I do now is teach video editing through Eleven Percent.
After we built AutoEdit, I spent a lot of time on Discord calls walking editors through the plugin, answering questions, and showing people how I use it. I recorded tutorials and put a lot of them on YouTube, but eventually I realized we could make the whole learning experience much easier.
Instead of making users hunt through separate videos and support documents, we built the AutoEdit Creator Academy as a simple course-style website where you can move through the lessons in order or jump directly to the part you need.
This is not a paid course or separate info product. If you use AutoEdit, the Academy is there to help you learn the software and get more out of it.

Starting with AutoEdit Music Video Mode
The first version of the Academy is built around AutoEdit Music Video Mode, our Premiere Pro plugin for helping music video editors create an editable rough-cut starting point faster.
The Music Video Mode Academy includes guided lessons for installation, uploading music and performance footage, synchronizing performance takes, setting BPM and cut settings, working with B-roll, applying visual effects, troubleshooting synchronization issues, redeeming the included preset pack, and understanding the overall AutoEdit workflow. fileciteturn15file0L19-L31
The current Music Video Mode V3 update also includes a redesigned interface, faster B-roll Selection loading, and the newer Energy VFX workflow. Energy VFX requires Premiere Pro 2026 or newer, while the other plugin features can continue to work on older supported versions. fileciteturn15file0L48-L52
Get help from a real person
We also wanted the Academy to be more than a collection of videos. Users can access support documentation, Discord, email support, and book a one-on-one support call directly from the Academy when they need help. fileciteturn15file0L7-L12
The goal is simple: if you get stuck, you should have an easy place to find the answer or talk to somebody who can help.
Event Recap Mode and Content Creator Mode are next
Music Video Mode is only the first section of the AutoEdit Creator Academy. We plan to expand the same course-style learning experience to AutoEdit Event Recap Mode and AutoEdit Content Creator Mode next.
As new Academy lessons and product sections become available, AutoEdit users will be able to access the latest resources through their account and the Academy.
Statement from Devin Huynh, founder of Eleven Percent
“I already spend a lot of time making tutorials and helping editors use AutoEdit, so I wanted to put everything into one place that was actually easy to follow. The Academy gives you the videos, the steps, the support docs, and a way to book a call if you still need help. We are starting with Music Video Mode, and we will keep building it out for the rest of AutoEdit.”

AutoEdit is built by Eleven Percent for video editors working inside Adobe Premiere Pro. The software is designed to automate repetitive editing tasks and help editors get to an editable rough-cut starting point faster while keeping the final creative decisions in the editor’s hands.
