In this guide, Iโll show you two ways to add professional animated captions in Adobe Premiere Pro. The first method uses AutoEdit Creator Mode with Claude AI to transcribe, style, and generate captions automatically. The second method uses Mark Jonathan Romeroโs Text Boss Bundle for drag-and-drop caption animations, text presets, and motion graphics.
Method 1: Generate and Style Captions with AutoEdit Creator Mode
AutoEdit Creator Mode is a Premiere Pro plugin that helps automate the repetitive parts of creating captions. Start by opening the plugin inside Premiere Pro, then transcribe your video or load an existing transcript.
Once the transcript is ready, open the caption styling controls. From there, you can change the font, text size, colors, outlines, positioning, and animation style. For example, you could use a bold, clean sans-serif font for a modern creator look or switch to an editorial serif font for a more premium visual style.
You can also apply karaoke-style highlighting so the active word changes color or increases in size as it is spoken. This creates movement without requiring you to manually animate each word.
To create the captions:

Method 2: Add Drag-and-Drop Caption Animations with Text Boss
